Two Rivers Athletic Associationi (TRAA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a wide range of youth sports programs for families in Mendota Heights, West St. Paul, and surrounding communities within the Two Rivers High School / ISD 197 school district area. Our programs are run by parent volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all participants.

Our goal is to inspire teamwork, skill development, and a love of sports in young athletes, while fostering community spirit. Each sport may have specific rules regarding eligibility at the travel level, but we are committed to serving kids who live in or attend schools in our area.

TRAA Soccer offers in-house soccer to kids PK-6th grade with programs administered by Salvo soccer.
Flag football opportunities for kids in K-3rd grade and travel tackle football for kids in 4th-8th grade. Season runs from August to late October/early November.

In-House programs for K-4th and Travel programs offered for kids 4th-8th grade with the primary season in late fall through winter.
TRAA Volleyball offers club volleyball in the winter for players in 6th-12th grade.
TRAA does not provide hockey but our partners are West St. Paul Hockey provide girls and boys hockey for kids 3-15 years old. Visit their website for more details.
TRAA Softball provides flexible off-season softball training options for multi-sport athletes looking to continue their softball training from November - March.
Most spring/summer programming has registration open in January with registration closing in March depending on the sport. Travel levels may have tryouts the previous fall with rosters formed the previous October. Please check each sport's page for details.
In-House programs offered in the Spring/Summer for kids 4-11 years old and Travel programs offered for kids 9-15 years old. Registration for travel is in May/June the previous year with tryouts in August the previous year. In-House registration open from January - March.
In-House programs offered in the Spring/Summer for kids 4-12 years old and Travel programs offered for kids 8-18 years old. Registration for travel is the previous June/July with tryouts in August and in-house registrations from January-March.
Girls Lacrosse is offered to girls 5-14 years old from May to late July. Registrations close in April.
TRAA Boys Lacrosse is offered to kids 7-14 years old in the spring/summer season running March - July with indoor running in March & April followed by outdoor from May-July. Registration closes in February.
TRAA Volleyball offers in-house/recreation opportunities to players 2nd-9th grade in April and May. Registration will be open in March. In-House offered for 2nd-5th and recreation offered for boys and girls 6th-9th grade.
