The Two Rivers Athletic Association (TRAA) Warriors Football program is a community-based, volunteer-led youth football organization dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football while building character, leadership, and teamwork in a safe and supportive environment.
Serving athletes across ISD 197—including Mendota Heights, West St. Paul, Eagan, and surrounding areas—TRAA offers both NFL FLAG (non-contact) and tackle football programs for boys and girls in grades K–8.
To develop young athletes through high-quality football programming that emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and community pride, while fostering a lifelong love of the game.
NFL FLAG Football (K–3rd Grade) - A fun, fast-paced, non-contact option for players of all skill levels.
Tackle Football (4th–8th Grade) - Full-contact, competitive play with certified coaches and league play through the Metro East Youth Football League (MEYFL).
Summer Camps - Offseason opportunities for players to stay active, build confidence, and sharpen technique.
Focus on Player Safety - All coaches are certified in Heads Up Football® techniques, and we prioritize proper tackling form, hydration, and injury prevention.
Inclusive & Developmental Approach - We welcome players of all abilities and backgrounds. Everyone plays, everyone improves.
Strong Community Roots - We partner with local schools, families, and businesses to build a unified football community in ISD 197.
Leadership & Life Lessons - Our program teaches more than football—it builds leaders, teammates, and responsible young people.
TRAA Warriors Football is fueled by the energy and passion of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers. Whether you’re looking to play, coach, sponsor, or cheer from the sidelines—there’s a place for you in the Warrior family.
