K-3rd :: NFL Flag football

In NFL flag football we teach basic football fundamentals appropriate for each grade level. Our intent is to build a framework from the ground-up to set the foundation for our players to advance to the next level. Most importantly, our process keeps all players involved and is fun for everyone! 

4th - 7th :: Tackle Football 

In tackle football, we build on the fundamentals from NFL Flag football and apply these skills in a contact environment. Importantly, all head/assistant coaches are required to participate in a "Heads-up" certification class to ensure player safety through proper tackle technique. With continuing advances in training and technology, it’s a great time to play football in our community and the years to come. Effective for the 2024 season and school year, ISD197 will no longer be offering middle school football for grades 7 & 8.

TRAA Youth Football WILL offer a 7th grade tackle team, and incoming 8th graders interested in playing football can participate within the Two Rivers High School program.
